Vince Zampella, Dies in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California aged 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The renowned game designer lost his life when his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
