The forward had to come off in the 87th minute of the Saturday 2-2 stalemate with Tottenham having been brought on in the 58th minute replacing Noussair Mazraoui. Coach the team's manager expressed concern post-match, resulting in the player's withdrawal from the Slovenian national team.
The club will carry out further tests at their Carrington facility this week, but initial assessments point to a potential return in time for the Everton match scheduled for November 24th.
